A variety of experiences can be created with Chat Rooms, from small private group chats to large public chats. Every program has a public chat room associated with it, and new chat rooms can be provisioned through the API that are not associated with any program.

Chat is powered by PubNub. When using one of the LiveLike SDK's, the initialization process is handled on your behalf and uses PubNub internally.
