Using Status Tiers

Status tiers represent different levels of achievement or progression that users can attain based on their engagement, actions, or accomplishments.

To support a wide range of engagement strategies, we’ve introduced three core components:

1. Tier Groups

Tier Groups define distinct progression paths for users. Each group represents a specific objective or context.

  • Purpose: Manage multiple tier structures based on different goals or campaigns.
    • Example:
      • Loyalty Tiers — For long-term user engagement
      • Event Tiers — For time-bound campaigns and seasonal events

2. Tiers

Tiers are the individual levels within a Tier Group that users progress through.

  • Purpose: Represent a user's advancement along a specific path.

  • Features:

    • Defined entry criteria (e.g., points thresholds, activity levels)
    • Unlock unique rewards or privileges at each level
  • Example Progression:

    Bronze → Silver → Gold → Platinum → Black

3. Benefits

Benefits are the perks associated with each tier that provide added value to users.

  • Purpose: Incentivize users through tangible rewards and privileges.
  • Examples:
    • Bronze: Standard access
    • Gold: VIP event invitations, exclusive discounts
    • Platinum: Early access to new features or content
