Guess What CMS Guide

Guess What? is a fast-paced puzzle or trivia-style game where users guess the correct answer using clever clues. It supports multiple input methods, scoring modes, and dynamic branding, making it ideal for daily or themed challenges.

Guess What? experience is available in the experiences list once you login and choose your application.

To begin, either select an existing game or click "Create New" to start fresh. The setup process consists of 7 key steps as outlined below.

CMS Setup consists of 7 key steps as follow:

  1. Welcome Screen

    1. This is an optional step and can be skipped if not required. Below are the key options for configuration.
      1. Button Label: Customize CTA (e.g., Start, Play Now)
      2. Welcome Text (optional):
        1. Title: e.g., “Welcome to Guess What!”
        2. Body: Can include instructions or motivational copy

  2. Rules Setup

    1. Optional to setup. Once setup, the information will be displayed in the (i) button
    2. Enable Rules Toggle to activate the option
      1. Rules Title: Name your rule section (e.g., How to Play)
      2. Rules Information: Add game guidelines, format explanation, and disclaimers
      3. T&Cs URL: Option to link to external terms and conditions page

  3. Result Screen

    1. Screen Options:
      1. Single message or Score-Based ranges
        1. For score based scoring, configure the range, for example
          1. 0–50%: “Don’t give up! Better luck next round.”
          2. 51–90%: “Great effort! You’re almost there.”
          3. 91–100%: “Amazing! You’re a trivia champion!”
      2. Allow Play Again and Play More toggles

  4. Quiz Setup

    1. Input Method: Manual, CSV Upload, or AI Generator (Beta)
    2. Game Format Supported:
      1. Fill In The Blank (Live)
      2. Arrange In Sequence / Grid Format (Coming Soon)
    3. Game Title & Subtitle: e.g., “Greatest Soccer Players of All Time”
    4. Tags: e.g., football, players
    5. Time Limit: Duration in seconds
    6. Reward Items: Select 1, 2, or all options
    7. Points per Correct Answer
    8. Game Screen Toggles:
      1. Allow Give Up
      2. Enable Get Hint
      3. Answers Section
    9. Define Correct Answer, Valid Answer Variants, Hints (e.g., nationality)

  5. Theme Setup

    1. Theme: Use Existing / New / Upload
    2. Use this section to setup the theme that matches your brand styling. You will get option to upload, brand logo, game logo and sponsor logo, background image/color, etc
    3. There are customisable option available for individual screens.

  6. Social Features

    1. Enable Sharing Stats: Allow players to share their game results with below configurable message option
      1. Custom Share Message: e.g., “Join me in today’s Guess What!”
      2. Deep Link: Add a URL for redirection
    2. Enable UGC (User-Generated Content):
      1. Allows users to generate up to 3 quizzes
      2. Quizzes expire in 24 hours
      3. Ideal for campaigns, virality, and creator engagement

  7. Schedule

    1. Timing Options:
      1. Publish Now
      2. Schedule Later using date and time picker
      3. Align publishing with campaigns, holidays, or sports fixtures
